How it all began...
Jacques' passion for honest and authentic hand crafted goods, coupled with a desire for excellence, is what started this entrepreneurial venture in 2012. Production has since expanded to (among other things), bespoke watch straps, belts, camera straps, and other custom orders. It all began with making the odd leather belt or wallet for family members and friends. After a starting out in a career as an Engineering Surveyor, then onto a marketing & branding role at a large law firm, to a stint in the retail property market, Jacques found his full-time passion in making handcrafted leather goods. Much encouragement was given from family, friends and fans, to take his part-time craft into a full time business. When Jacques is not in his workshop he is jamming on his guitar, restoring an old BMW motorcycle or making his wife (& business partner) freshly ground coffee. Image credit: Love & Rockets

Everything we produce is hand made right here in Cape Town, hand stitched and hand stained from scratch. We use the age-old artisan techniques that guarantee quality products that last.
